Application Platform Development
In this project, I worked closely with our Head of Engineering spearhead the development and implementation of an end-to-end online application portal, that overhauled the intake, review, and acceptance of over 4,000 students. During this project, I developed a deep understanding of the systems behind the database and was exposed to Auth0 and Firebase authentication platforms, basic coding through VSCode and database development and maintenance in MongoDB.
Database Development
This team executed the development of an Access-based repository to consolidate information for Hospital and Community healthcare facility capital projects, eliminating over 30 redundant reporting documents. The project was born after COTS solutions were too deemed too costly, difficult to maintain, and too long to implement. The project included significant change management for almost 100 team members who were inputting and maintaining the database for senior management reporting.
I&IT Project Management
A change in organizational structure resulted in the creation of a new division with an entirely new project focus in the Information and Information Management space of healthcare. Leading the development of a Project Management Office, I planned, developed, and implemented project management standards and tools for the division’s 150+ information management and investment projects to cultivate and foster project management excellence across the 8 branches of the division.
