Financial Aid Process Development Project

Projects can be big or small, but often require dedicated attention to get them done and get them done well. An example of a larger project was the creation an end-to-end intake, review and awarding of financial aid to low-income families. From research into best practices, international norms, user acceptance testing, solution development and testing to launching and continuously monitoring the program, this successful program saw the awarding of over $1.5M in financial aid to students in 2020.

Organizational Strategic Planning

Planning the vision and mission of an organization is an important task that requires buy-in, participation and commitment from all levels of an organization. I have facilitated many strategic planning sessions, the smallest with a small team of 5 and the largest across an organization of almost 100 staff. From agreement on the organization’s vision and mission to creating a values and annual goals, I’ve been able to work with teams to help build unifying foundations to grow from.

Creating Policies & Processes

There comes a time in most organizations where policies and procedures need to be set to ensure that the company is abiding to regulations and the team knows what the rules are. From researching the rules to digging into best practices around the world, I’ve developed policies and procedures for teams on a broad range of topics from Information Management and Document Retention Standards to Workplace Harassment, Online Privacy and Paid Time Off expectations.
